In the summer of 2024, I was contacted by Matt Correia from the Los Angeles-based band Allah-Las to create the poster for their performance at the Paredes de Coura Festival in Portugal.
I translated the surf, timeless and nostalgic atmosphere of their music into a visual language that shaped the poster’s composition.
My process involves drawing and sketching as a way of exploring organic, intuitive, and spontaneous forms. These hand-made elements become the foundation for developing visual compositions that connect with the atmosphere and identity of each project.
I incorporated a photograph I took in Nazaré, Portugal, during spring 2024. The image was captured on Kodak Ultramax 400 film and became part of the final visual composition.
