The Spiral of Intentions is an interactive typographic experience that turns a personal intention, beginning with “I’d love to…”, into a poetic visualization of its possible consequences. Through spiraling, shifting text, the project explores how choices unfold over time, revealing personal growth as a cyclical process in which patterns may return, but we are never quite the same.

The project is hosted on a web-based interface and uses a large language model to generate its content. Visitors are invited to enter a personal intention, beginning with “I’d love to…”. From this input, the system creates five unfolding loops of possible consequences, visualizing how that choice might evolve over time.

I explored the spiral as a recurring form across nature, time and human experience: from galaxies, shells and unfolding plants to ripples and cyclical systems. Unlike a circle, the spiral returns without repeating exactly, making it a fitting symbol for growth, transformation and the way our choices evolve over time.

The experience acts as a reflective decision-making assistant, helping people consider different possibilities before taking action. The result is a a visual experience that makes time, intention, and personal transformation to feel tangible and navigable. Here interection is seen as a medium for poetic reflection, choice-making, and inner movement.
